In Memoriam: Jerry Tucker

The Labor Campaign for Single Payer mourns the passing of renowned labor organizer Jerry Tucker. Jerry wrote the book on effective corporate campaigns and was a lifelong advocate of trade union democracy, militancy and unity. He was a mentor to hundreds of activists and an advisor to dozens of union campaigns. More about his life can be found on the Labor Notes website.

Jerry was a co-founder of the LCSP and helped to lead the organization until his death on October 19, 2013. His family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Jerry’s name to the Labor Campaign for Single Payer.
